Units on an insulin syringe are volume markers, not a dose. They mean nothing without knowing your concentration. This calculator works correctly: vial size & water volume first, then your dose in milligrams, then the syringe draw.

The math

mg in vial ÷ mL water = mg/mL→dose (mg) ÷ mg/mL = mL to draw→mL × 100 = units (U-100 syringe)
